And people just be bitter because they didn't think of it first /c I think pretty much everyone thought of it, most of us just realised how incredibly pointless killing our alt 1000 times is. I mean I get it, now he has some more fap material, and he can go tell all his friends (or just his mum) how super awesome he is for being the first, but in the grand scheme of achievements of EVE this is meaningless.

The fact that you've gone through all of the effort to show off your fake epeen definitely puts you below most of the posters on here.
Aiwha wrote:Doesn't that mean that everybody who has a tournament ship now has a tournament ship with 999 killmarks?
Since they're just gonna alt farm it? I doubt it, since most people realise how pointless it is to fake it.

Deathlives4u wrote:Lets face it - there are no such warriors left in this game. If there were, they would take me up on my challenge of getting 999 kill marks with legitimate solo kills - purely for the joy of battle, rather than even for my 120b+ offered prize. As it stands, this is likely to remain the only Alliance Tournament ship ever to reach 999 kill marks. And I'm OK with that. I'm sure there are "true warriors" including those who actually use and lose their special edition ships. Your challenge is purposely impossible to achieve without farming easy kills. Nobody gets a 99% kill ratio without farming easy kills, at some point they will lose, no matter how good they are. You know this because it's the conclusion you came to when you decided to waste your time on this "achievement". People with AT ship with 50 legitimate kill marks would easily be more impressive than those with 999 alt kills.

Deathlives4u wrote:My goal wasn't to prove I'm a good warrior. Nor was I interested in the killboard stats at all. I actually removed my API from the killboard before I started, I only put it back so I could prove the kill marks were real without having to "show" it to people (Looking at you Raging Bull). My only goal was to create a truly unique ship - and I have succeeded in it. Mission accomplished o7 But it's not really a unique ship, is it? It's no more unique than taking an AT ship and putting one unit of every type of readily available ammo in it's cargohold - I'm sure other people don't do that either. It's just a ship you've put a bit of time into that could be done by literally anyone if they valued their time that little.

Deathlives4u wrote:It is the only one in the game - kind of the literal definition of "unique"
Most people consider the AT ships themselves to be unique tbh... Literal definition or not, changing the state of a ship in an easily reproducible way doesn't really make it unique. Again, why is yours unique, but one with different cargo to all the others not unique? Whether people consider a ship that multiple people own as unique or not is irrelevant.
Deathlives4u wrote:But I'm sure you own 10 of all of them and fly them all the time. Because clearly you are the coolest pilot in EVE... I don't, simply because I have no interest in special edition ships. It's certainly interesting how defensive you are getting over it though. Generally that indicates that the defensive person agrees with their opposition but is too ashamed to admit it so they double down and become super defensive. You know full well that the way you've done this has rendered it completely meaningless.
At the end of the day if this is something you want to spend your time on, it's your time to spend, just don't be surprised when the vast majority of players roll their eyes at you rather than pat you on the back.

I think in this instance though I got it right in my previous post.
